Last but not least I photographed this large modern building
from many different angles, including;
·
Looking straight up at the building.
·
From a
distance
·
Capturing
little bits of the subject to create interesting compositions such as rule of
thirds and negative space.
·
360, walking all the way around to capture
different images and shapes.
I think this is the most effective shoot and the one I mostly
enjoyed. This is probably because I hadn't done anything like this before so it
was good to experiment with something new. Bridgewater place is the tallest
building in Yorkshire, and has held this record since being topped out in
September 2005. It is visible at up to 25 miles (40 km) from certain areas.
The images I think are the most effective from this contact
sheet are the close up ones. I have created almost an abstract effect as you can’t
really figure out what the subject is at first glance. The clear blue sky makes
it even more difficult to figure out which I think works really well.
